EBR-ESA E2 Instructed Person is an ESA training for individuals who are not electrically skilled but need to work inside or near electrical installations. The course provides the safety knowledge required to perform non-electrical tasks in a safe manner.
Who is considered an “Instructed Person” under ESA?
An Instructed Person is someone who has received safety instruction about electrical hazards and is authorized to perform specific tasks within defined limits, but is not classified as electrically skilled personnel.

In many cases, yes. Grid owners and employers require ESA training before granting access to electrical installations.
What happens if ESA training is not completed?
Without valid ESA training:
- access to worksites may be denied
